Filipinos do love to go out on Holy Week. I know many just want the nice atmosphere of their home.
If you are one of them, make your stay indoor a fun one.
Along with your pet cat or dog, you can do a lot things.
1. Clean your house
Are you tired from working all week? Well, there’s more time to rest. Why don’t you clean your house to invite good spirits? After all, evil spirits are said to be more powerful this Lenten season.
When was the last time you read a good book? And no, I don’t mean Facebook.
3. Solve puzzles
Tickle your brain by playing sudoku, crosswords and especially jigsaw puzzle. Note, don’t lose one piece of the jigsaw or you’re gonna have a bad time.
4. Play board games
Be it Snakes and Ladders or Monopoly, toss the dice and if you’re lucky, you’ll get six. No cheating!
A good way to pass the week. Film series like Lord of the Rings and The Fast and The Furious can keep you pumped up this Holy Week.
6. Learn how to cook
This is the right time to ask mommy how to cook, especially binignit, so you can boast to yourself about how good your binignit is.
The Internet has it all. Watch movies, listen to music, play games, there’s more to Internet than you can ever imagine. Just don’t waste your time looking at cat pictures.
If you keep the tradition of abstaining red meat, then follow the seafood diet – if you see food, eat it. Get what I mean?
Filipinos love it. I know you love it. Tap the inner Bruno Mars or Regine Velasquez in you. But don’t you ever think of putting the speaker on loud volume, you don’t want to end up in a barangay hall after receiving complaints from your neighbors.
10. Sleep all day
Screw all the plans you have, just sleep!
