Just before midnight, December 14, Saturday, Cebu was hit by a magnitude 3.0 earthquake.
The epicenter was located near Mandaue City, north of Cebu City.
The earthquake was recorded at 11:20 pm.

According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) of the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the new earthquake was located at 10.41°N, 123.85°E – 013 km N 50° W of Mandaue City (CEBU)
The tremor recorded an intensity three in Mandaue City and intensity two in Lapu-Lapu City and Cebu City.
