The incident caused panic in the terminal as seen here by a video taken by Hon. Fernand Imperial.

Hon. Imperial took a closer look, where we can see someone lying down on the ground.

According to Jose Angel Honrado, General Manager of Manila International Airport Authority, four other persons were also injured but their names were withheld and their relation to the mayor is still being verified. “Lahat ng items material to the case will be submitted to the SOCO for their appreciation,” Honrado said at press conference aired on television.

Mayor Talumpa arrived in NAIA from Zamboanga del Sur at around 10 AM through Cebu Pacific flight 5J 852.

The investigators are now coordinating with the witnesses, admitting that there were no closed-circuit television or CCTV cameras to record the incident. (Yes yes! You are not the only one sighing and rolling your eyeballs right now.)

Gunmen were reported to have donned police uniforms while riding a motorcycle.

They used a .45 caliber gun during the shooting incident, which would probably look like this.
