A super typhoon is coming to the Philippines and it is “forecasted” to affect Cebu.
The typhoon with international codename Haiyan will be renamed Yolanda once it enters the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Thursday.
It is expected to make landfall on Friday, November 8.
If the high pressure at the northeastern side of the Philippines will move north, chances are Cebu won’t be affected by the typhoon.
Here is an explanation of a weather specialist at the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) in Mactan, Cebu.
Everyone is advised to monitor the situation and take precaution.
