Hosting for the second time of this annual meet is not an easy task. The prime movers of this annual sports spectacle need to have certain qualities to make this event a success. It is with great honor, pride and pleasure that we were given this distinction to host this much anticipated athletic games. Thanks to Nestle Philippines, the Department of Education, the Philippine Sports Commission and the City of Cebu for their support.

Sports can lead to the development of positive attitudes among our youth. Through sports competitions, the student athletes can acquire skills and values that can be useful in their adult lives.

In every sports competition, what is most important is not winning medals but forging friendship and camaraderie among the participating athletes and officials.

I welcome all the champions from Luzon, NCR, Mindanao and Visayas to the City of Cebu as we proudly host the 26th MILO Little Olympics National Finals.

Good Luck and may the spirit of true sportsmanship prevails.
