Yes! We did it again! Our very own Miss Philippines won the recently concluded Miss International held in Tokyo, Japan. Her win brings Philippines close to beating Venezuela in terms of bagging five Miss Internal crowns!
And who is the beautiful lady who deserves our accolades? She is none other than Bea Rose Santiago!
She was able to outdo Nathalie den Dekker (Miss Netherlands) in second runner up and Miss Casey Radley (Miss New Zealand) in third runner up.
Who are her beautiful predecessors with the Miss International crown? Let’s take a look.
Gemma Teresa Cruz in 1964
Aurora Pijuan in 1970
Melanie Marquez in 1979
Precious Lara Quigaman in 2005
If you’re wondering why Bea Santiago won, just take a look at her photos and videos!
Her body rocks!
Just look at her strutting her body in swimsuit!
If that was not enough, look at her walking gracefully while donning a lovely red dress!
I wasn’t able to see the entire pageant but honestly, I was in awe when I heard her answer.
Every queen deserves a crown and by far, this was Bea’s best moment in her life!
The entire staff of Ten Minutes as well as the whole country would like to congratulate Bea for bagging the crown!
Let’s not forget our competitor for the most Miss International crowns won, Venezuela! Here are their country’s beauty queens!
Elizabeth Mosquera in 2010
Daniela Di Giacomo in 2006
Goizeder Azua in 2003
Vivian Ines Urdaneta Rincon in 2000
Consuelo Adler 1997
Alejandra Sicila Hernandes in 1985
Aside from Miss International, the Philippines has won the Miss World Crown, bagged the Top 8 spot in Miss Earth and the 3rd spot for Miss Universe in this year alone! According to the photo posted on Shamcey Supsup’s Facebook account, it seems to be clear on who the winner is.
The battle for beauty supremacy is now on!
Philippines versus Venezuela! Which side are you on?
