We at tenminutes.ph always want to do things in a fun and interesting way.
But being on a job during an exciting festival isn’t really that fun at all. You have to know many things like “Who won the Parade”, “Number of participants”, “The number of people who watched Sinulog”, and all other things that big media companies are covering.
So we ditched our jobs and decided to have fun.
Morning on the eve of Sinulog, the team was separated into two groups — one to cover the ground procession and the other at the fluvial parade.
Unfortunately, Chanel and Danjick were assigned to cover the ground so they didn’t get to board the yacht. But these two guys didn’t appreciate how much fun they missed during the cruise and instead celebrated the procession on their own lovely mattresses.

While on board, we saw a lot of well-decorated floats that joined the parade.
It was in that moment that a spark of inspiration struck me to write about the boats that stood out during the fluvial parade.
After the parade, we enjoyed some local food served including lechon.
Now, let’s go to the street and have some party. Some angels started landing down from heaven.
We walked through the street and met some hardcore artists, like this one.
And this one.
I wanted to make an article about it but… I got caught up with the selfie revolution.
Even Titays’ models can’t escape me
Then I realized I look like a freaking idiot.
So I put my game face on and got serious. Fortunately, Danjick got an idea about selfies. Thanks to him, I had an article about it.
If you’re wondering how we got the pictures, well here’s the big secret! Tada!
Unfortunately, we got separated with the others due to the huge crazy crowd!
Actually, we were separated not because of the huge crowd but because we were after the float of Kim Chiu! Duh, Rodel here, anyway.
Based on my previous experiences, Sinulog is always fun. Why on earth should I miss the fun and do the job instead? Where’s the fun in that? And you know what’s even more exciting? I got this:
I went with the parade, had some fun, and this thing was perfect because no one stopped me from stepping the line! HA!
Even the army? Pfffffttt…. I showed him my badge and he requested a selfie. LOL!
Not just him, even Darth Vader acknowledged something.
Just then I realized that with me were my friends, bunch of not-so-cool guys. Sorry, I’m being modest—these guys are losers.
Me (far left) with friends.
But heck, we were having fun!

Her expression says it all, I couldn’t agree more!
And based on the fun that I had, I resorted this article.
